Ion Gel ZCM-25® received its COFEPRIS regulatory approval in Mexico as a Class 2 Medical Device for topical wound healing and infection prevention. Ion Biotechnology México, S.A. de C.V. is working with Manuel laboratory based in Mexico City for production-scale batch testing. Market distribution is planned for early 2022.
